Martingale Feature

Aloha on this beautiful day in the city. There's a good breeze goin' so we're not roastin' here.

Have you heard of Martingale Company? It's employee owned.

I mentioned some time ago, probably before most of you started reading Knitspiring Odyssey that one of my greatest investments was a stitchonary - 365 Knitting Stitches a Year Calendar. I purchased it from Amazon in 2008 and proceeded to knit 12 scarves, most in Malabrigo Worsted, for that Christmas.

I found Martinagle's group on Ravelry some time ago and had posted pics of all my projects. One of the owners PM'ed me and besides loving what I had knitted, sent me a free book of theirs, Nature's Wrapture

On January 11th of this year, I found this message in my Inbox:

Hi there,
We are preparing a post for our blog about the 365 Knitting Stitches a Year calendar (about how to determine gauge and knit swatches, to create projects using the stitches), and would like to use some of your project photos in the post! :)
We would show the photo, and also give credit to you and link to your Ravelry page. Here are a few of the ones we picked out to show, with your permission:
Let me know if you’d like to be included! Thanks so much! :)

Of course I said yes!
So today, the post went live! You can see my projects when you click through the pics at the bottom! Woo hoo!

  5. Ooh, congratulations! I'm not surprised they wanted to use your images, there's some great work there :)

That last scarf of yours (pic 8) is the same stitch I'm using for the body of the Red Nose Day Dolls Shawl by the way (although I don't own a copy of the Calendar, sad to say)!
